We are an organisation helping to create workshops, festivals, and events to teach Afro Caribbean culture and heritage through the means of dance, storytelling, and live concerts and performances.
WHAT WE DO
Oslo Kizomba Festival since its inception in 2016 has created a vibrant, safe, inclusive, and friendly atmosphere where people come together to take part in, enjoy and share the rich cultural heritage of Afro-Caribbean culture and dance with one another. We create the atmosphere and space through our events for one to experience, talk about dance with experts and historians, watch professional and aspiring dancers perform, learn Afro Caribbean dances from professionally trained teachers as well as well-knowledged ambassadors, and enjoy concerts renounced African performers share their live music, learn and train.
